Herpesonline is privately owned and operated with a staff of volunteers who have real jobs and a real life in the real world, so sometimes responses may take up to 24 - 48 hours. 

 

Herpesonline receives NO federal, state or local funding.  Our funding comes entirely out of our own pockets and other ventures such as the minimal advertising agreements we've made and small commissions we earn through them.  We do not accept financial contributions!

 

Occasionally throughout our sites you will find links followed by (aff.) This indicates that I have arranged an affiliate relationship with the organization to which I have linked. What this means is, I receive a small commission if you click on the link or purchase their products.

 

If a product is recommended via this site, it’s because I’ve personally tried it and I feel comfortable in encouraging others to try it.

 

My relationship with the affiliate program in no way influences my personal recommendation.

 

There are many times I will try a product and later check to see if an affiliate program is offered. Then and only then will I provide an affiliate link rather than a direct link as you will find in most cases where links are provided.

 

In today's world with the increase in the number of reported STD's among society, you can clearly see that quality information is vital and that there is a need to have websites they can trust for answers that are not manipulated by some governmental red-tape that many of our existing abstinence only programs are providing.

 

Through your participation we can expand our resources and advertising to reach people on a much broader spectrum.  Although we would love to be able to file for non profit status, we cannot give in to the guidelines that would restrict us from being absolutely honest with our visitors.  That's why we count on donations from you!
