Question: If you have HSV1 genitally, what is the risk of your partner getting it orally in between outbreaks?

Are you 100% sure you have type 1 genitally? Typically, type 1 genitally will result in very very few outbreaks if any.

I can’t give you exact stats but I am a firm believer in herpes is herpes regardless of where it’s located. One should not be seen as good or bad – better or worse – especially when it comes to transmission.
